Betony Vernon designed the “Wings Collier” Necklace in 1999. The prototype for the wing was made with the technique of chiseling. The chiseled wings were then moulded and replicated in sterling silver 925 using the lost wax process. Each wing is then backed with sterling silver sheet, granting this volumetric one-of-a-kind design piece the lightness that is characteristic to hollowware. Wings are the symbol of lightness, spirituality and freedom and it is in this spirit that the necklace should be worn. Material: Sterling Silver 925
